APCO’s Agency Training Program Certification, a Project 33® Initiative, is a formal mechanism for public safety answering points (PSAPs) to certify their training programs as providing trainees with both the required content and demonstration of decision and psychomotor skills cited within the standard.

As part of the certification process, the Agency’s curriculum, training materials, and supporting documentation are reviewed for compliance. Achievement of this certification is a testament to the Agency’s commitment to providing exemplary service, through advancing the training and professional development of its public-safety communications officials. The East Central Emergency Network is currently one of only five agencies in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to hold this certification, and is very proud to be recognized as one of the finest.
