Public Safety Telecommunicators (PSTs) are the very first link in the chain of public safety and emergency response. They operate phone and two-way radio equipment, answer emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance from the general public, and dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources, along with performing various other related tasks.
