Full-Time Deputy Sheriff

Montour County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Sheriff.  The position is 30 hours per week starting at $16.50/Hr.  $25740/ year.  Act 120 or Act 2 certification is preferred.  Fully certified Deputies rate is $17.50/ Hr.  once a 6-month probation period is successfully completed.   Full county benefits, including medical insurance, paid vacation, and retirement.   Act 120 individuals will need to complete Act 2 waiver training for certification within the first year of employment.  Applications and job descriptions can be obtained at the Montour County Sheriff’s Office located at 253 Mill Street, Danville, PA, Monday through Friday 9AM – 4PM  (phone 570-271-3020) or at montourcounty.gov    Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
